Just a quick thanks to all your folks who have been submitted cool t-shirts (yours, ones your site sell, or ones you’ve seen).

We’ve gotten tons of submissions in the last few weeks and most of them are outstanding! Many of them will be featured on the site in the coming weeks. If you haven’t received a response yet to your submission, don’t worry… the email gnomes haven’t eaten it. You’ll be hearing from us soon.

If you’ve designed a relevant, artistic, or just plain awesome t-shirt, and haven’t submitted it for consideration yet, what are you waiting for?

So yeah. About that server transfer? Nothing ever goes without a hitch.

If you’ve attempted to send shirt submissions, comments, or advertising requests over the last few days, you may have gotten a server rejection notice.

And … we probably didn’t get your email.

Submission forms should now be working again, and if you need to send an email for advertising or general inquiries, you can email me directly.

We’re huge fans of Smashing Magazine, so when we saw that we were included in their feature “Now More Than Ever: 50 More Excellent Blog Designs“, we were tinkled pink.

Thanks guys!

We really appreciate it. And we’re honored to be included in the short list next to some other really cool designers.

If you’re just discovering Pop Culture Tees from Smashing Magazine today, you might be wondering what’s going on here. I know, the bright colors can be distracting.

So we’ve prepared a little welcome for all our new visitors to help you get up speed on Pop Culture Tees:

  • What the heck is this place?

We LOVE design. Especially t-shirt design. So we’re dedicated to scouring the web to find cool t-shirts that you haven’t seen yet. Every week-day we feature one new shirt from somewhere on the internet. The only rules? We gotta think it’s a hot design, and we hope you do too.

As awesome as our new t-shirt spidy-sense is, we also rely on our visitors to hit us up if they know of a cool design. Submissions make the world go round, ya know.

  • That’s it? You just link to t-shirts?

Well no, we link to really cool t-shirts. Seriously though, we also feature tutorials on designing t-shirts and coming soon, a weekly interview feature with t-shirt designers around the world.

But shhh, that’s still top secret.

  • What’s with all the FRICKIN’ colors?

We don’t really have a good answer to this one. Rumor has it a Photoshop palette exploded all over the screen and we couldn’t come up with anything better.

So there you go. The skinny on Pop Culture Tees. We really hope you stick around for the ride.

You can explore all the great t-shirts we’ve featured in the past (don’t miss the Tees for Designers series), and subscribe to our RSS feed to keep up to date on all the new ones we’ve yet to cover.
