Make a tote bag from a T-shirt

Posted June 12, 2009 by StephenView Comments

I may have fallen off the turnip truck today with this post, but I saw how you can make a tote bag from a t-shirt and I thought that it’s a pretty good idea. Seems like a good way to avoid using plastic bags for that quick hop to the market.

This example from Instructables.com looks like one of the easiest. Just a few cuts and a line of sewing and you’re carrying your yogurt and Kashi bars in style.

If you’re like me and can’t sew a stitch without attaching your finger to something, you might try this one made with duct tape and a stapler (argh, argh, argh, argh).

Got any old designs lying around?
