With so many high quality designs floating around that haven’t been printed yet by contest sites like Threadless and Emptees, or snatched up by a clothing line somewhere, this is a fantastic idea. Why hasn’t anyone done this before?

Kingstrike is a brand new (today = their first day) t-shirt design brokerage site which offers exclusive purchase rights on t-shirt designs. The designs aren’t anywhere else, and once you buy a piece of art you can download it immediately and get full rights to print and resell the design. Right …

Advertising on PCT helps us offset some of the cost of running the site, and justify the amount of time we spend on writing store reviews and how-to articles. We offer premium spots for just $20 a month, but also run two smaller ads from project wonderful a little lower on the site for smaller clothing lines or for people who are just testing the waters.
We appreciate everyone who has purchased advertising on the site.
And to say thanks (more than just saying “thanks”), we wanted to do a …

(Because 10 just isn’t enough)
If the background of our site wasn’t a huge tip off, then let me tell you that we’re some huge fans of space invaders of here. So when Andy over at Thunderfrogs said he was putting together a list of space invader tees and offered to let us publish it, we responded with a resounding “HELLZ YEAH!”
Check out his full bio at the end of the article.

Launching in …well… just a few hours (or if you’re reading this after 12am CST — it already has) is new t-shirt competition site ShirtFight. Say the folks behind the new site:
“We’ll always keep our community priority #1. We’re nothing without you guys! That’s why we’re going to keep the lines of communication open, constantly ask for your …

Even after it’s slight re-design, shirt.woot still lacks in overall usability, especially to the casual user.

Envee Apparel launched their clothing line (and website) just a few week ago. The spring/summer collection is designed around the central theme of “Know Your Destination.”

From the site:
“Some people wander through life not knowing where they are headed or how they will get there. Although the message can be said to parallel religion, this collection focuses on the choices that people make that put them on the path to their destination; be it the high road or the low road. To each their own, everyone has a reason for their …

Probably the strangest named shop we’ve featured on the site, these are the same guys who are behind reddit, and are dedicated to offering geeky stuff to folks who like that kind of thing.
Pick up this tee just in time for the series end:

Also, all profits from this design go to the EFF. Cool.

Nice series of articles from the folks over at Lowdtown that talks about various aspects of starting and running your own clothing line. Looks like there’s been a ton of work put into these articles and a lot of really useful info.

Linked for ease of getting to them:
