Where did “So You Wanna Design T-Shirts? The Series” Go?
26 Aug 2008The key part of a series is that it includes more than just the one article.
Call me a purist, but part one is not the end of a four-part series. Right?
So here’s the deal. The other 3 installments of the “So You Wanna Print T-Shirts” series were all ready and shiny and chock full of texty noughaty goodness and were just about to be posted. Suddenly there was this loud crash outside the window and the sky was all like bright yellow and lit up like a big banana on a stick. And then there was a roar in the distance. It sounded like Godzilla. Seriously! And then….
WTF? Is this guy on mushrooms???
So here’s the REAL deal. The series became a casualty of a variety of circumstances and was sort of neglected. And by sort of, I mean totally. So what do we do now? We do the right thing and finish what was started.
Just a brief FYI:
My name’s Stephen and I’m a Sagittarius and I like long walks on the beach and hiking. How’s THAT for corny and cliché?
I’ll be your rough guide during this exploration of making t-shirts. I’ve been a part of this industry for over 6 years and know the in’s and out’s of making T-shirts. I’ve seen many highs and lows related to the production of shirts and have seen many aspiring shirt moguls sink and swim. I’ll do my best to relay my knowledge as accurately and helpful as possible and hopefully, I’ll be able to catch your interest and possible entertain you.
I know jack squat about how to mechanically make the artwork, so I’ll leave that for Liz to ’splain. She’s a pretty good wiz at all that stuff. I’ll even give her a prod or two when she starts to slack off.
